iOS 4.3 Tethered Jailbreak Gets Released Ahead of Official Debut

Apple’s iPhone has been on the market since the device’s original release back in 2007 and has seen an update happen year after year ever since. Currently, the latest addition to the iPhone series is the iPhone 4 available for both Verizon and AT&T, that brings with it things like a faster processor, higher resolution display, a front facing camera and more.

However, no matter what Apple manages to add to the device there will always be a highly dedicated community of owners who prefer to jailbreak their device allowing them to do not allowed by the stock iOS platform. Unfortunately, for such folk, with each release Apple comes forth to fix the loopholes that jailbreakers use to unlock their devices sending hackers back to the drawing board. Of course, this is only a minor road block as it’s not longer after an iOS update is released that a new jailbreaking method is released as well.

Set to debut on March 11th alongside the iPad 2 is iOS 4.3. This update brings with it improvements to the Safari Mobile web browser which apparently sees a 2x speed increase, iTunes Home Sharing that will allow consumers to, quite obviously, share their iTunes library with an iOS powered device, the ability to create a WiFi hotspot out of the device and last, but not least, the ability for iPad owners to choose whether they want the device’s side hardware switch to lock the screen’s orientation or mute the volume.
